THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CALIFORNIA - This site is dedicated to exposing the continuing Marxist Revolution in California and the all around massive stupidity of Socialists, Luddites, Communists, Fellow Travelers and of Liberalism in all of its ugly forms.

"It was a splendid population - for all the slow, sleepy, sluggish-brained sloths stayed at home - you never find that sort of people among pioneers - you cannot build pioneers out of that sort of material. It was that population that gave to California a name for getting up astounding enterprises and rushing them through with a magnificent dash and daring and a recklessness of cost or consequences, which she bears unto this day - and when she projects a new surprise the grave world smiles as usual and says, "Well, that is California all over."

Moron Alert - Assemblyman Felipe Fuentes

Assembly Dumb Ass Felipe Fuentes

Leftist Moron of the Month

---- Massive unemployment and underemployment in California

---- Home foreclosures everywhere.

---- Businesses are leaving the state.

---- The state in bankrupt.

If all of that was going on during your term in office what would you do?

Why introduce a bill for National Coupon Month naturally.

What a fucking dip-shit.

The reports that the budget deficit of the People's Republic of California is about $17 Billion are only half right.  The press forgets to tell their viewers and readers that California also owes the federal government $14 Billion and the public schools another $10 Billion.

While California sputters under massive debt, idiot legislators continue to take up ridiculous bills and resolutions, and ignore bills which would begin necessary reforms.

Last week the Assembly voted to adopt Assembly Resolution 99 recognizing September 2012 as National Coupon Month. ACR 99 by Assemblyman Felipe Fuentes (Socialist Democrat - Sylmar) “would acknowledge the value of coupons in achieving significant savings for California consumers.”
Moronic legislators live in a pretend la-la land.  No matter how they screw up they still get their paychecks and almost always win re-election from an even more stupid Sheeple public which has not a clue what is happening outside of their Twitter and Cable TV worlds.
The Assembly Rules Committee, notorious for killing Republican bills by refusing to act on them, had a committee staff member prepare an analysis of ACR 99, and committee members voted 6-4 to pass the Resolution.
It is now in the hands of the Senate Rules Committee where it will undoubtedly go through a similar process.        (Cal Watchdog)

California wastes billions in tax money

Tax money going down a Black Hole.
A Federal study says billions in California tax money has vanished down a Black Hole
never again to be seen by any living man.

Pissed Away  -  Since 1998 the Feds say the Democratic California legislature has pissed away billions in tobacco tax money
  • California collected $244 billion in cigarette taxes and settlement cash, but appropriated only $8 billion for tobacco control programs.
  • In 2003 the state used the tobacco industry payments as collateral on bonds to help close the state's general fund deficit.

With the voters of the People's Republic of California poised to vote next week on a tobacco tax hike, a new federal study concludes that the state has used relatively little of the billions of dollars in tobacco money it already takes in to prevent kids from smoking or to help smokers quit.
                                                                           .
Between 1998 and 2010 the Democrat controlled legislature appropriated only 6 percent of the money collected from a massive lawsuit settlement and from cigarette taxes for tobacco interdiction and education programs, the national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported last week, far below federal spending guidelines for effectively curbingtobacco use reports the Sacramento Bee.

Beth Miller, a spokeswoman for the tobacco industry-backed No on Prop 29 campaign, said the CDC study just proves government can't be trusted with more tobacco tax money. She compared the ballot measure to others that funded controversial state projects, such as high-speed rail and stem cell research.
                                                     .
"It's not hard to see this measure is headed down the same path of exorbitant salaries, high-priced consultants and more wasteful government spending," Miller said.
From 1998 through 2010, California collected nearly $22 billion from a lawsuit settlement with tobacco companies and from cigarette taxes, according to the federal report.

In the 13 years that ended in 2010, states collected nearly $244 billion in cigarette taxes and settlement cash and appropriated just $8 billion for tobacco control programs, less than one-third the $29 billion the CDC says should have been spent.

California lawmakers in 2003 used the tobacco industry payments as collateral on bonds to help close the state's general fund deficit.      (Sacramento Bee)

The Rape of California Voters

A sign that will NEVER be posted in the California Legislature.
Unlike legislators, at least hookers are honest in their trade.  Our California Senators and Assemblymen will spread their legs for money from just about any special interest group.

Democracy is Dead  -  Billionaire Special Interest Cartels purchase their very own puppet candidates for the legislature
  • The people have no voice in their own government.
  • The hacks and liars of both parties abolished the party primaries to help defeat anti-tax Conservatives.
  • Districts are so huge that you can only win office by spreading your legs and whoring yourself to the Cartels.

As federal super PACs continue to pour money into the presidential and congressional contests, state-level independent committees are spending big to influence the outcome in California's legislative races.
                                                                                 .
Independent expenditure committees, which can raise and spend unlimited amounts, are active in more than a third of state races on the June 5 ballot, spending more than $7 million to support and oppose candidates.
                                                    .
The spending, which will grow as groups ramp up mail pieces, radio and television ads and in-person appeals by paid staff in the final days of the primary campaign, is expected to easily exceed the more than $7.4 million in independent spending the Fair Political Practices Commission tracked in the 2010 legislative primary contests reports the Sacramento Bee.

"You can't swing a dead cat without hitting an independent expenditure right now," Democratic campaign consultant Andrew Acosta said.
The top-two primary, which puts candidates of all party affiliations on the same ballot and allows only the top two vote-getters to advance to November, has also blurred traditional battle lines. Business groups are backing moderate Democrats, labor unions are picking sides in Republican battles, and some political insiders are using their cash to try to oust incumbents.

  • Stanford physicist and major GOP donor Charles Munger Jr., another top-two primary supporter, has spent more than $500,000 to boost the more moderate Republican rival to Assemblyman Allan Mansoor, R-Costa Mesa.  Well fuck Munger.
  • Labor unions, traditional Democratic allies, are active across the aisle. SEIU California and the California Professional Firefighters are spending to elect a Republican running against Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, one of the most conservative members, in a heavily GOP district.
  • In the Southern California's 46th Assembly District, which is shaping up as the primary's most expensive contest. Charter school advocates spent more than $1 million to supportcharter school executive Brian Johnson, a Democrat, in the six-way race for the open seat. Students First, the Sacramento education advocacy group headed by former Washington, D.C., schools chancellor Michelle Rhee, chipped in more than $400,000 this week to run television adson his behalf.

ELECTION  REFORM  NOW

It is easy to take the big money out of politics and allow common people to win office.

80 State Assemblymen  -  California has the same 80 Assembly members since the 19th Century, but the population as gone insane.

For example, the 55th Assembly District has a population of 475,000 people and 245,000 registered voters.  To print and bulk rate mail a single letter to every voter costs about $98,000.  This corrupt system allows only millionaires or political whores who are willing to sell their souls to win office.

Two simple reforms to restore democracy:

  • Part-Time Legislature  -  The most important reform.
  • Expand the State Assembly  -  Increase the number of part-time Assemblymen from 80 to say 400 members.  No staff.  No perks.  Near zero pay.  This is a public service post.  The expanded Assembly would bring district size down to 95,000 people each and perhaps 50,000 voters.
States much smaller than California have a better ratio of representation.  The lower house in Connecticut has 151 members; Missouri has 163; Pennsylvania has 203 and New York 150.

June 2012 Primary Endorsements

Screw the state GOP.  Vote for who you want.

The California Primary is here.  Not that it means much in this authoritarian state.  But those who treasure freedom need to get out and vote.

For President
Republican Congressman Ron Paul
Ron Paul for President

For anyone who believes in freedom a protest vote for Ron Paul must be cast.  Far too often the GOP acts as Socialist-Lite Party.

For U.S. Senate
Republican Robert Lauten
Robert Lauten for Senate

He supports the reinstating of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 that saved the banking system, and he wants to reestablish the Hamiltonian Credit System.  Personally Lauten had me at Hamilton.

Face it.  The GOP in California is so pathetic they could not attract a real candidate.  This is the best the party can do.

No on Props 28 and 29.

_______________________________________________________________________

The California Republican Party is an un-elected oligarchy that does not represents Republican voters, but instead represents elected political hacks and special interests.

Republican Party Endorsements . . . Screw them
  • The state GOP is an un-elected oligarchy of Big Government loving morons.
  • The average Republican voter has no voice in their own party.

When my sample ballot arrived in the mail it sickened me to see the "endorsements" made by the California Republican Party.  First of all no one elected anybody at the "Republican Party."  So what gives them any right to tell anyone who to vote for, but the party went ahead and endorsed 100 candidates around the state.

The state GOP central committee is a totally un-elected oligarchy.  Members are appointed by Republican candidates and GOP officeholders.  No one is elected by Republican voters.

In the stupid endorsement department, total loser Elizabeth Emken won the state GOP endorsement for U.S. Senate.  However her only electoral experience is finishing fourth out of four candidates in the 2010 Republican primary in Democratic Rep. Jerry McNerney’s district. Emken received 16.7 percent of the vote. In a district that winds through four counties, Emken didn’t even win her own Contra Costa County, finishing second, just 270 votes ahead of the third-place finisher.
                                                                                     .
Reform the Republican Party  -  A political party where the voters have zero voice is not a real party at all.  The GOP grass roots voters having no voice explains why the party supported abolishing the GOP primary and supported higher taxes under Arnold.
                                            .
Members of the GOP County Central Committees appear on the ballot and are elected by the voters.  Simply make every elected County Committee member an automatic member of the state committee.  That would pump new blood and real representation into the GOP.
                                         .
But the corrupt state GOP oligarchy will never reform itself

1984 - Individualism is Dead

Individualism is Dead - All Hail Big Brother
Kim Fahey is seen with his at his home in Acton, Calif., in a mountainous arid area north of Los Angeles. Fahey built the eccentric Mojave Desert compound known as Phonehenge West.
.
Fahey has been placed on five years' probation, ordered to serve 63 days of community service and pay $84,488 in fines for daring to build a desert home that he loved.

.
Fahey was forced to tear down his home of more than 30 years, is now retired on $800 a month and has been screwed by his government.

There is no justice under an Orwellian Big Brother State
  • Art and creativity are now illegal in the Orwellian People's Republic of California.
  • So-called "small government" Republican office holders gleefully line up to crush any hint at individualism while Democrats ran for the hills.

Alan Kimble "Kim" Fahey has spent more than twenty years working, mostly single-handedly, to turn his Acton, California property into the wonderland of habitable sculpture he has named "Phonehenge West." He is retired from a 30-year career as a phone service technician.

Hundreds of people have visited the property and admired the wonderful invention and solid construction of Kim's buildings...even the unfinished segments were beautiful. The "small government" Republican run District Attorney's Office County of Los Angeles and "small government" Republican Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich declared their intent to condemn not only his work, but the man himself to a jail term longer than those handed out for some violent crimes against actual victims.

Now the man who built an eccentric Mojave Desert compound Phonehenge West was placed on five years' probation on Friday and ordered to serve 63 days community service, five of them at the county morgue.

It cost $83,488 to tear down Kim Fahey's structures on the 1.7-acre property in Acton, Los Angeles County prosecutor Patrick David Campbell told a judge during the sentencing hearing in Lancaster. Demolition was completed on March 20.

Superior Court Judge Daviann L. Mitchell told Fahey that he must pay restitution. He ordered a July 27 progress report.

Campbell told the judge it took four big-rigs to haul away 53 tons of telephone poles. Trucks hauled away another 28 loads of debris weighing 280 tons.

The judge could have sentenced Fahey to as much as a dozen years in jail for defying authorities for decades as he created Phonehenge West out of everything from abandoned movie sets to discarded utility poles and other junk that nobody else wanted.
                                               .
Some praised the compound 50 miles north of downtown Los Angeles as a stunning example of American folk art. The quirky 70-foot tower had stained-glass windows and energy-producing windmills. There were nearly a dozen other buildings, including a replica of a 16th century Viking house.
                                          .
Fahey said he did obtain building permits when he started Phonehenge West, but the county lost them.
                                                                                .
Republicans are Totally Invisible  -  Republicans sit around with their thumbs up their asses totally clueless why they are a minority party in California.  The GOP claims to believe in individualism and freedom, but Republican politicians either went into hiding or came down hard on Fahey.

I have reached my limit.  Fuck both of these bastard political parties.   (Journal Gazette)

Enjoy your new 1984 Orwell Ant Farm.
You too can live like worker ants toiling endlessly for hours on end for your Marxist Overlords.  Never question their judgement and always obey their insane "rules" . . . after all, the rules are for your own good.  It must be true.  Your Masters said so.

Job creators flee Socialist California

Socialist Stupidity  -  Comrade Jerry Brown does not give a crap about the average person who works for a living.

  • High tax, anti-business Socialism is driving businesses and job creators out of the state.
  • Brown and his Fellow Travelers in the legislature get a government paycheck.  So the fact you can't find a job has no meaning to them.
  • SHOCK  -  With 12% of the U.S. population, the People's Republic has 33% of those on welfare.

Comrade Governor Jerry Brown of the People's Republic of California released his 2012-13 budget proposal and demand for job creators to bend over for a good tax reaming by his Socialist minions.  Brown's endless quest for more and more tax money will only will force the producers of society into leaving the state.
                                                                                      .
Comrade Brown calls for $8.5 billion in tax increases from the initiative he is placing before voters on the November ballot. Most of the tax increase will come from increasing the top income tax rate by 3 percentage points.  The rest of the new taxes will come from a sales tax increase for all residents to fund the cradle-to-grave Welfare State.
                                                                          .
The Marxist income tax would go from the current 10.3 percent to 13.3 percent, which would be the highest in the nation.  This would be on top of the already high Federal income taxes.

But he failed to note something crucial: That owners of businesses that create jobs can move away from the People's Republic. And if the jobs are not created, then the businesses die. And if the businesses and jobs are gone, then the tax base goes down.
Taxing those so-called evil capitalist "owners” more isn’t a simple matter of moving money around in separate bank accounts. It means punishing the jobs creators and totally screwing people who work for a living.
Just last week there was wide publicity given to Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin leaving not just a particular high-state tax, but the entire USA for tax relief in Singapore.  The nation of Singapore has no capital gains tax. He’s worth $4 billion, assuming the Facebook’s coming IPI rakes in $100 billion.

Chuck DeVore Speaks out against Brown

Comrade Brown also didn’t note something else: Although the economic recovery is tepid, it is a recovery. Tax revenues should be increasing a little — or at least not going down, as in California. The Wall Street Journal just reported:
“California is suffering this tax drought even as most other states enjoy a revenue rebound. State tax collections were up nationally by 8.9% last year [2011], according to the Census Bureau, and this year revenues are up by double digits in many states. The state comptroller reports that Texas is enjoying 10.9% growth in its sales taxes (it has no income tax), while California can’t seem to keep up despite one of the highest tax rates in the land.”

But he also surely knows that Democrats might gain two-thirds majorities in both houses of the Legislature this November. If that happens, they could increase taxes at will, without needing a single Republican vote in the Legislature, or the approval of voters.

(Cal Watchdog.com)

The economy is booming in low tax Singapore.
American Democrat Socialists are too stupid to understand a simple fact of  life:  If you are low tax and business friendly, not only does your economy grow but the government gets more taxes into the treasury.

Chris Mitchum for Congress

Two bastard liars in just one photo.
Minnie Me liar former GOP Lt. Governor Able Maldonado and his Puppetmaster GOP Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Lies and Damn Lies  -  The Great Liar Able Maldonado runs for Congress
  • Central Coast Republicans should vote for former actor Chris Mitchum.  Does he look like his dad of what????
  • Maldonado has very serious character flaws.

By Gary;

There is one thing I just cannot stand, and that is a LIAR.  The Great Whore Able Maldonado qualifies for the title of liar better than almost anyone active in politics today.

TAX  INCREASER  -  As a Republican State Senator from the California Central Coast, Maldonado signed the no new taxes pledge.  Republicans don't believe in a Hell of a lot.  They go out of their way to fund Big Government every chance they get.  So drawing the line on new taxes takes on even more importance.

To bottom line it,  Schwarzenegger, Senator Maldonado and other GOP legislative traitors broke their no new taxes pledge and fucked the voters.  No more.  No less.

But to make it worse, Maldonado sold his vote in return for his Puppetmaster Schwarzenegger appointing him as Lt. Governor.

SCREWING  REPUBLICANS  -    As part of Maldonado's corrupt deal he insisted that the Republican primary be abolished and that everyone be on one ballot in order to reduce the voting power of anti-tax Conservatives in government.

This was done behind closed doors literally in the middle of the night without one single public hearing.  The bastard Maldonado made sure that the ballot argument that went in the mail to voters was a total lie.  The real opponents of this corrupt plan were not allowed to write their opposition to the proposition.

IDIOT  REPUBLICANS  -  More proof that Republican voters are often idiots.  After getting royally screwed by Maldonado, GOP voters went ahead and voted for him for Lt. Governor.

Now the liar Maldonado is running for Congress.
                                                                 .
The new 24th Congressional District  is significantly more difficult terrain for Democrat Lois Capps as she tries to hold on to her seat. In contrast to her huge partisan advantage in the old 23rd CD, registration in the 24th is closely divided between the parties.

  • Democrats       38.5%
  • Republicans     35.5 %
  • Independents    20.4%

The national GOP is expected to provide resources to former lieutenant governor Abel Maldonado, assuming he bests Tea Party favorite Chris Mitchum in the primary.
                                                         .
Capps meanwhile reported $1,322,657 cash on hand, nearly three times as much as Maldonado, with $492,230; Mitchum reported $113,929, including a $100,000 loan to himself.

Chris Mitchum for Congress

California's new 24th Congessional District is comprised of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties in their entirety and portions of Ventura County.

Republican Chris Mitchum for Congress.
The son of the legendary actor Robert Mitchum, and an actor himself, Chris is the former National 1stVice President of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), where he led a small group of board members who stopped Ed Asner from using his position as SAG president to support the Communist Sandanistas in Central America.  Despite being outnumbered, they were successful and Asner did not seek reelection.

Chris served as Chairman of the Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Commission under Governor Pete Wilson.  As chairman, he rewrote the way they did business and brought over four million dollars into community police and teen courts.

In 1998, Chris ran for State Assembly. He raised nearly $1 million, and won a 3-way primary but was narrowly defeated by Democrat Hannah-Beth Jackson.

California ranks last in business climate again

Socialist Democrat Zombies
The Socialist legislature of the People's Republic of California ready to do
the bidding of Dear Leader Comrade Jerry Brown.

Grinding Socialist Poverty  -  The Socialist Democrats are taking the state down the road to a Marxist poverty where we are all "equal" and equally unemployed
  • California ranks at the bottom again in business climate
  • With 49 other states and the entire world to chose from, what businessman in his right mind would start a new business in California?

The business climate in the People's Republic sucks and the Marxist morons running the state have not a clue what is going on because #1)  they hate capitalism and #2) being full time political hacks they do not have to work for a living.
In the company where my wife works outside Los Angeles two entire floors have been emptied out and closed down.  All of these California jobs were sent to the Philippines.  A friend of mine in Santa Barbara who works for a defense contractor was forced to retire.  What jobs that were left were sent to Mississippi.
But our Dear Leaders only make it worse.
California comes in at the bottom in a business survey conducted by Thumbtack.com, in partnership with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.  The survey was conducted over two-months with over 6,000 small business owners nationwide. The data shines a new light on the United States' business regulatory climate and the nation's economic health.
“Six thousand small-business owners have told an unusually nuanced story about what they value in their state or city government,” said a spokesman for the Foundation.
California earned the a near bottom ranking in the San Francisco-based technology firm’s survey. The Golden State was one of four states to land itself a failing grade, including Vermont, Rhode Island and Hawaii.  Massachusetts earned a “D” grade.
Thumbtack.com has released new data showing that small businesses rank California among the least friendly states for small business. California earned F's in 6 of the 12 categories ranked, and the three worst cities nationwide for small businesses are all in California. The one bright spot is San Jose, which ranked in the top half of cities nationwide.

Top State Rankings

A+     -     Texas

California gets an "F" for business climate.
The darker the color of the state the worse the business climate it.  The People's Republic of California comes in at the very bottom.

Kevin McCarthy tries to rebuild the California GOP

House GOP Whip Congressman Kevin McCarthy

Kevin McCarthy is working to rebuild a shattered and nearly worthless Republican Party

  • Except for a two year period under Gov. Reagan, the GOP has been a minority in the state legislature since 1958.
  • It would help if the GOP actually believed in something, but that is for another story.

People's Republic of California Congressman Kevin McCarthy of Bakersfield is setting his sights on his home state and looking to rebuild a Republican Party in desperate need of repair.
                                                                       .
McCarthy has launched Trailblazers, a program aimed at grooming candidates running for state legislative office. McCarthy, the House majority whip, hopes these recruits will someday be ready to run for statewide office reports Politico.
                                                         .
The Trailblazers Program is closely modeled after Young Guns, a largely successful effort spearheaded by McCarthy during the 2008 elections, which supports GOP candidates seeking House seats. Young Guns was revived for the 2010 midterms, allowing McCarthy to introduce himself to many of the Republicans who would win that year and is being used again in 2012.

Defend the Bill of Rights

Trailblazers is just getting started. So far, it’s held two candidate workshops — what it calls “campaign colleges” — in Sacramento and Los Angeles and has inducted 41 candidates. Those overseeing Trailblazers said only the most polished candidates will meet the benchmarks needed to rise through the program and receive support.

McCarthy insisted that his ambitions remained in the House for which he serves as the top Republican vote-counter and is regarded as a go-to figure for many of the House freshmen who rely on him for political and legislative advice.

“I think it’s difficult for me to run statewide from where I’m at. I’m not from a major metropolitan area. I don’t view running from Congress as a good platform. It’s got to be something you want to do as well. I like what I do here,” McCarthy said. “But I think I have a responsibility at the same time to help build the Republican Party in the state. This is something I’ve always done.”

“I think this is part of a rebuilding process for the California Republican Party,” said Phil Paule, a Trailblazers participant who is running for an Assembly seat in Southern California’s Inland Empire area. “I think [McCarthy] wants to see more Republicans in the state Legislature. He had a model in Young Guns he wanted to implement here.”

“If you don’t have candidates who can win races for state Legislature, how do you run statewide?” said Peter Tateishi, a Trailblazers participant who is running in a competitive race for an Assembly seat based in Sacramento. “I think this program addresses that.”

(Politico)

Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger did his very best to destroy the Republican Party with insane Big Government spending, abolishing the GOP primary in secret back room deals and raising taxes.

Democracy is Dead - Thank the Republicans

The GOP Screws Themselves & the Voters

The so-called "small government" Republican Party stabs the voters in the back yet again.

  • The GOP refused to back the part-time legislature constitutional amendment.
  • The GOP somehow thinks it is good politics to protect the full time salaries of corrupt state legislators from both parties.
  • The GOP opposed making legislators more accountable to the voters.
  • And Republicans wonder why they are a minority party.

By Gary;

Republican State Assemblywoman Shannon Grove of Bakersfield stood all alone when she proposed a major reform returning the California legislature to part-time status.  Her fellow Republicans who claim to favor "small government" ran for the hills . . . . as usual.

Now the amendment is dead.

Grove's petition drive had collected between 200,000 and 300,000 of the 807,615 voter signatures needed to qualify the constitutional amendment for a statewide ballot. The deadline for gathering the necessary signatures is July 2, but that would be too late to qualify for elections this year reports the Sacramento Bee.
                                            .
The measure called for the Legislature of the People's Republic to meet three months per year, and for lawmakers' pay to be cut from $7,940 per month to $1,500 per month – or $18,000 annually.

TRANSLATION  -  After meeting for three months legislators would have to go home to their jobs and work for a living instead of sucking at the teat of the State Treasury all year long.
They also might have to live under the laws they write and interact with their neighbors instead of living the life of a Master Ruling Elite.
Republicans - Missing in Action (Again).  By letting the part-time legislature die for total lack of support, the Republican Party (in an unspoken alliance with Democrats) proves to anyone with a brain that they have not the slightest interest in democracy or election reform.  For them it is all about gathering naked power to themselves.  The people be damned.

The so-called "professional" full-time legislature has not only bankrupted the People's Republic, but acts a a breeding ground for full-time political hacks to live out a career on the public dime instead of having to work for a living.

Sample part-time legislatures:

  • Texas.  Legislators make $600 a month. The Legislature meets in regular session on the second Tuesday in January of each odd-numbered year.   The Texas Constitution limits the regular session to 140 calendar days.
  • New Hampshire.  Legislators are paid $100 a year.
  • Nebraska.  Legislators are paid $12,000 a year.  Sessions of the Nebraska Legislature last for 90 working days in odd-numbered years and 60 working days in even-numbered years.
  • North Carolina.  Legislators are paid $13,951.  The General Assembly meets in regular session (or the "long session") beginning in January of each odd-numbered year, and adjourns to reconvene the following even-numbered year for what is called the "Short Session."  The "long session" typically lasts for 6 months and the "short session" typically lasts for 6 weeks.

The unspoken alliance between Democrats and Republicans means there will NEVER be real reform of any kind in California.  Welcome to the People's Republic.

Democrats want to know: "Is your Contractor Gay?"

Big Brother wants to know: "Are you Gay?"
Big Brother is watching you in the People's Republic.

MORON  ALERT  -  Idiot Democrats (is there another kind?) want Gays to register with the Big Brother State

  • Democrats want Gay and Lesbian contractors to "register" with the State.
  • The sex and race obsessed Democrats already have the Big Brother state register contractors by race, ethnicity and gender.

Democrats are totally obsessed with your race, your vagina and your penis.
Now for the first time in the People's Republic of California the Big Brother State wants to register gays and lesbians.  Big Brother would ask its contractors if they are gay under legislation passed Monday by the People's State Assembly.
The measure, Assembly Bill 1960, would enable the owners of businesses that contract with the state to identify themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. It would not require them to do so. . . . yet.  But that too is coming you can be sure.
The Assembly vote was 47-24, with only one Republican supporting it. The bill now heads to the Senate.
The Department of General Services currently is required to collect data on contractors by race, ethnicity and gender. AB 1960 would add LGBT-owned businesses to that list.
The bill by Sacramento Democratic Assemblyman Roger Dickinson seeks data involving state contracts for construction, professional services, and for the purchase of materials, supplies or equipment.

Republicans, in floor debate, said the state should not be delving so deeply into people's private lives and that the data collected is not likely to be accurate because of hesitancy in reporting sexuality.

Gay Registration worked well in Nazi Germany.
Homosexuals were forced to wear pink triangles in 1930s Germany. Homosexuality was banned and registered Gays were rounded up for "orderly disposal".

California residents were gathered up by the government.

Big Brother Concentration Camps, confiscation of
private property and racial identity cards.  The only thing missing was a final solution plan.
